Cover 0 & Cover 1 Part 2

In this installment I will be talking about the Cover 0 and Cover 1 out of the 4-3 front.

Firstly, I cannot even find a simple Cover 1 Hang. A play with the FS in a deep zone, the SS in a hook zone, and the line backers in man coverage. I can find Cover 1 Press with the FS in a hook zone and the SS in a deep zone, but it is still a press play, even if I flip it. I want to choose when I press or not, not have EA decide for me. I really only press in cover 2 where I can afford to press.

Secondly, I can't seem to find any Double X, Double TE, or Double Z plays in Madden 13's playbooks [using the Facebook ap for images.] I like to call these plays and press coverage. That way, if my CB loses on the press, there is a safety over the top to help and the other has double coverage help. At least they are in the nickle packages. I still wish they were in the default plays.

Cover 1 Sam blitz. Flip to send the Will [not in Madden] I can't find a Cover 1 Mike blitz. Crash the defensive line away from the blitzing backer. Left on this play, right if flipped.

Cover 0 Will Mike blitz. Flip to send a Sam Mike Blitz [not in Madden.] Crash the line left, or right if you flipped the play. This will help try and free up the DE.

A double OLB combination of the above play. Crash the line left or right to your liking. It's good to try and guess where you think the run is going and crash that direction.

As I said before, I really only use cover 0 for run blitzes. They are also good at generating pressure in the passing game, but the are run blitzes first and foremost in my book.
