Grading The Toughest NFL Schedules According to Madden NFL 25 Stuck

Grading out the toughest schedules in the NFL is a key component in determining which teams are contenders and pretenders in the upcoming season as teams with easier schedules have a better chance to rack up wins throughout the season.

Using Madden NFL 25's team overall ratings, I averaged out each team's schedule and ranked them by the schedules average opponent rating. Perhaps the most noticeable component of the schedules is that the NFL does a great job of balancing schedules. Typically teams within the same division end up clustering around each other as well.

Here's the NFL toughest schedules from first to worst according to Madden 25's team ratings:

I notice the top half is almost all NFC teams and the bottom half is almost all AFC teams.

that's because the AFC is not as "deep" as far as quality teams as the NFC is.

He compared the Team power ratings of each team to calculate the strength of schedule - so if you had to play 5 teams in the first half of the schedule and those teams have the following ratings. 80 ,82 , 85 91 , 88 then the 1st half schedule rating is 85.2 for example. The higher the number the better the average rating of the teams they have to play.

Correct me if I am wrong, my Bears have the 7th hardest schedule this year - should be an awesome year.

Hehe, what? The Bucs' schedule is mediocre at best.

Keep in mind that less than 4 points separates the hardest schedule and the weakest.

And you're right. Tampa has to play Carolina's D twice every year. They do have a stupid-difficult schedule.
