Online Dynasties...Why do they fail?

Im still trying to figure out why exactly when i join a dynasty they tend to fail within the first couple of days (not weeks but just days) and why exactly do we even do Player vs. Player games on online dynasties anyways? All that does is slow down the advance process and usually online dynasties have people from different time zones so when you schedule a time to play somebody either forgets or just says screw it and people get booted and people get unhappy and yata yata yata.

So my question...Why do most online dynasties fail??

You kinda mentioned why most of them fail right there in your blog...PvP.
And you hit the nail on the head for the reasons PVP does not work well in this type of Dynasty.
You are in my Dynasty so you know what I think on this topic....but I thought I would validate you blog

I kinda look at online dynasty as being my offline Dynasty..but being able to know some of the other teams are "real" people, playing the game on the same settings as me, and it's interesting to see how everyone does..........I am really looking forward to seeing one go 3-4 years down the road, and then seeing how everyone looks

yea man im also looking foward to one going 3-4 years down the line and seeing the teams and the make up of them but my question is...when? When can that happen? Have so many people quitting out of no where or stalling or just not even acknowledging that the league even exists that its hard to even make it through the first off season b/c people get bored and forget.

Well, first I have to say that I agree to your point.
And you gave the most answers within your post.

As it's PvP you have to, like in every game, find the right people to play with....who needs to be in the right or matching circumstances.
