On the game's demographics reverting back to '05, I thought that the average US gamer being 37 years old, and with only 18 percent of gamers coming in at under 18 was farfetched. Good that they adjusted the numbers to more realistic ones. I really can't see a LARGE number of older people playing, mainly because gaming didn't really explode until the 1990's. The next generation though will get older, and each successive one as well, so I do see the average age going up to 37 in the next 20 years or so.

What's really surprising though is "women aged 30 and older now represent a significantly larger portion of the total population of US gamers than boys 17 and younger."

I don't know any women gamers over 30. Do you?

Well, gaming is so broad now with phones and whatnot. I don't know many women who play XBOX or PS3, but most have some type of time killing game on their smartphone.
