Didn't MS already release a 360 controller with an improved d-pad?

Bumping the price of Xbox Live is a bit surprising I guess, but I think Microsoft would have everyone by the balls at this point. If you're into online gaming, it's not like you're going to walk away if you now have to pay $10 more a year.

And I was always confused why the D-pad was so crappy on the 360 controller in the first place. I always sort of assumed it was because of some copyright issue that they couldn't use one that made more sense but maybe not.

QotD: I play too many fantasy sports, but I at least don't obsess over them. That being said, I usually have at least 3 baseball teams, basketball teams and 2 hockey teams. I always found that fantasy football was not interesting enough (even before I swore off football) because it was just once a week and didn't take much skill because the sample size was so small.
