Disecting GH: Metallica track list
Posted on January 24, 2009 at 02:48 PM.
THought I would run through my opinion about the track selection on GH: Metallica. I'm only going to run through the ones that I see appropriate. lol.

All Nightmare Long-
Very nice, interesting and my favorite song from their New album "Death Magnetic." Has some sweet *** riffs and everything flows nicely.

Creeping Death-
My personal all-time favorite Metallica song. Great story immersed in the lyrics. Cannot wait to chant "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!"

Frantic
I'm glad they included at least one song from St. Anger even though it's my least favorite. This song will be fun to jam out too.

Master of Puppets
If a person knows any Metallica song by heart, it's either MOP or Enter Sandman. This is just in your face metal about drug addiction. Awesome song.

OneThe video of this song really captured the essence of it. I man that can't speak, move pleading for the doctors to take his life away. Can't wait for the double bass part.

Sad But True
My favorite song off of their self-titled album. James broke away from his wailing days with this album and went with a deeper, scratchier voice and this song shows it off.

Wherever I May Roam
This song is epic. "My body lies but still I roam" will be on my tombstone one day. Can't wait to sing this.

Other 'Tallica tracks in the game:
Battery
Disposable Heroes
Dyers Eve
Enter Sandman
Fade To Black
Fight Fire With Fire
For Whom The Bell Tolls

Fuel
Hit The Lights
King Nothing

Mercyful Fate (Medley)
No Leaf Clover
Nothing Else Matters

Orion
Seek And Destroy
The Memory Remains

The Thing That Should Not Be
The Unforgiven
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

Whiplash

Of course if you downloaded the Death Magnetic album for GH3 or GHWT they will play on this too. I plan on buying a mic stand to sing and drum/guitar/bass for this game. Can't Wait. 'TALLICA!!!

Thanks for reading. Comments would be nice

I'm so glad Hit The Lights is in the game. When I saw them in Nov. they played this in concert and me and my buddies went nuts.

This will be my 1 game to own in 2009, for sure.

Definitely some good tracks, but there are some I'm disappointed that they're missing. Four Horsemen, Call of Ktulu, Blackened to name a few. It's a good representation of their entire catalogue, but I would like more. Maybe I'm just greedy.
