I need to make 4 mandatory cuts before the first preseason game against Pittsburgh. These are fairly easy cuts as 3 are offensive lineman with D potential, and the last is a tight end with D potential. he unlucky players are:

G S. Capers
G X. Fulton
C N. Sundburg

After I say goodbyes to the young men leaving my team, it is time to hit the practice field to see exactly what I have to work with before I decide if I want to add some more competition via free agency, as well as help me develop a game plan.

After spending some time with both the offense and the defense, I came to the conclusion that I was comfortable in what we had to work with on defense. Players were making plays and staying true to their assignments, even when I put the young guys out there I liked what I say. The offense, though, is a completely different story. The quarterbacks could not find the receivers, and the running backs could not seem to hit the holes fast enough. This prompted me to look in free agency to add a player or two to ignite the offense.
