NCAA 13 (IMO) is a good game; however, I am very nit-picky so I can't add the GREAT label to it. I'm not gonna bash the game because I enjoy playing it so much. What I'm going to do is point out a few things that I've come to notice as I play. Then i'll try to pose a question about the next installment of the game.

So i'll start with things that have nothing to do with gameplay so if you're not interested in non gameplay thoughts go to the next paragraph. Here's a unfortunate "list" of my thoughts: the home screen is fine it was nothing to rave about but because I don't spend hours on the home screen that's fine, there should be more songs not because I like music but because the band music all sounds the same 6 weeks into the game, useless game modes should be trashed (that heisman mode) & that can be replaced by the popularly requested FCS schools (just my thoughts), I'm a big dynasty fan lets get that out the way so you understand where I'm coming from, no more preset faces for anybody on the game (this means players,coaches, refs, fans and yes even cheerleaders) I've already come up with the solution in a previous post titled your face in the game or something like that, dynasty tabs are old it seems very "listy" idk how to fix it I'm just saying, & before I start any game (dynasty or online) I feel I should game plan for the team/player I'm about to play (this could be done by showing favorite formations and plays, go-to guys, holes in the defense or offensive line, stats, percentages, & ect.), while stats are on mind my mind I'd like to point out something and I'm not going to dive into the deep end i'll just wet my toes by saying add more stats if they mention it on Wednesday Thursday Friday or Saturday nights it should be in the game, any-who I'd like a little (who am I kidding) a lot more options in creating/editing players (yes this means head to toe), I think that the whole Reese Davis addition is great and I'm sure it's in it's fertilization stage but if I could suggest a nudge or 2 ... they'd be to talk more about the matchup of the teams and or players and if possible coaching styles, & this really isn't focused on the addition of Reese but if that nudge is added you have to show the players/coaches or whoever is being talked about (warming up and highlights/lowlights) Now I watch a lot of football so this next portion is factual not opinionated and idk if its just me that this really bothers but quite frankly the sidelines are under packed and dead in comparison to any level of footballs sideline (there's tons of coaches, players in "street clothes", reporters, the people behind the goal post chilling, ball boys, trainers, randoms in general) this only bothers me because on balls thrown away in the video game they just morphs through the players (people catch those or attempt to all the time), & on big plays sidelines ERUPT!!! on rivalry games it's dangerous to catch a ball or run into a crowd of the opposing team, another thing I think is important to mention based on my experiences while playing in my dynasty, If Georgia Tech fires there coach and hires Chip Kelly GT should then have an uptempo offense and wherever the GT coach goes they should have that option crap, during game breaks there should be highlights, I'm not cheap but i dont feel that i should have to pay for new jerseys as the real season progresses so i'm an advocate for free jersey uploads, I also find it weird how I can win multiple championships and can't put more that 50k in my stadium,Stadium upgrades would be awesome, when I loaded the game up the first time in the bottom left corner I noticed a sign that said "white out" I was excited and disappointed when I started my dynasty and couldn't schedule "Color" outs, further more I'd like to add senior day (homecoming isn't that cool I guess they could mention it but that's it), I find crowds interesting why are all the fans young college looking people, if you watch a game on tv there are old people and children all throughout the crowd, I also have a problem with having bad games covered by Kirk and Brad there should be radio broadcast and a local broadcast crew for games that aren't as important as 2 top 10 teams playing, there should be position coaches that determines how much better players get at the end of the season based on the coaches grade/how good they play of course, audio during games lines and should be responses to what the other person says(ex. if they don't record together what IS recorded should be sent to the other guy and he should record natural responses to it for all 4 of the voices heard on the game [Brad,Kirk,Erin, & Reese]), there should also be more celebrations for scoring (I've seen multiple ways to point to the sky, and the Mark Ingram "show the gloves" thing he did in college), finally there should be "random talk" about other games and players because the games relatively quiet.

Now if your still reading or you skipped the "non gameplay" stuff. I'll jump right to it : Guys should be able to be tackled by there jerseys (ever seen a failed stuff arm?), the jersey being pulled would also lead to new holding animations, I hate that i have to user catch to see all the cool catch animations the CPU should do all the animations not just the catching ones, Infinity engine that's all, as a defensive back I'd like to see way more Wr DB interaction, I'd like to see more jawing in big games (like it would be cool if there was an emotions rating and when 2 players with low emotions rating they get in each others face and refs/teammates pull them away), Im not an advocate of shoving in the game so just use the jawing, could we see helmets coming off back in a football game I don't know why I'd like to see that but it happens dang near every game, another thing that happens a lot that I never see in the game is blocked kicks/punts (I like that I never get anything blocked, but after 5 years no one has blocked my kicks is just odd), I'd like to see momentum bar brought back, I would also like it if there were screen shaking crowds, one thing that i hate out routes (or any route) that are poorly thrown so they go 45 yards into the stands that never happens, if its my fault why can't it look how it does on TV that bad ball would be thrown in the dirt so I'd like to see accurate inaccurate passes, there should also be a button that allows me to stretch for 1st downs and touch downs, I'd also like to see them implement a way where I could slide head first or feet first just because it happens in real life and it doesn't seem hard to add that into the game but I don't know, there should also be
big blocks like crack backs and stuff like that, there should also be big hits on wrs going across the middle and when safeties are coming down on lobbed out routes, I believe that if I have a big back he should play like a big back plays, also what's the point of 2/3 really good backs if the CPU coach won't play all if them or user can't auto set how much each back plays?, there should also be situational qbs (Tebows fr yr), I would like to see better line play, there should also be a way to do properly formed wrap up hits vs high/low big hits, I'd also like to see the celebration button brought back (just add the excessive celebration flag), another BIG change that would be great would be having an option at the end of a game instead of kneeling 3 times letting me (if I'm playing the CPU) bring up a cut scene of the guy shaking hands and leaving the fields and or celebrating (the option would work like super sim with a cut scene),
with all my cut scenes I'd like to see there should be a "skip cinema" option like COD BO2 (like game reals if they have videos, and pregame if it shows last yr/ last week high lights), announcers should say players names during games after randomized names are done/rosters are uploaded, there should also be like 500 fake stories about all impact players so it takes away from all the silence during the game, there should also be away to save punts from going into the end zone (like the dive and throw back, & swat), I also noticed that most special teams coaches makes there kickoff teams run all the way to the end zone on touchbacks that should be on the game, there should also be a way to do strip sacks, in the grand scheme of things if they add the infinity engine to what they have now it might still be a good game (i didn't want to add this but I did), and the last thing that I'd like to see is pylons that move (realistically). Now when I started this I didn't expect this to be so long if you read it all thanks for your time. I have a lot of ideas for the what would make the game more "realistic" my question is: what are the sanctions/restrictions the NCAA placed on EA about things that can and can't be in the game? And if you read all of this are there anythings that you'd add to my list? Please remember this is all based on my opinion which I'm entitled to. I don't care to read negative comments.
