This should be the last time I write about the XFL allowing 2k to make a game. The XFL has taken a huge blow. There are three reasons for this. It doesn't make me happy to write this; however, there is sliver of hope. But it's just that a sliver.

It's been 6 and 3 quarters of XFL to this point and I can't sit on these points any longer. I think I want another option for a football game more than others. The games so far has been good but if I see ACC or PAC12 quality football. That's not a talent related comment.

The NFL season has come and gone. In the past that meant we had to get our football fix via Madden, highlights, or some other football outlet. This year things may be better with the start of the XFL season this weekend. I have my fingers crossed in hopes that we get a better product than that rushed AAF. A few weeks ago I posted a piece that focused on some of the things Madden 20 was missing. It is a few minutes after the end of the Super Bowl. Kansas City won 20-31. As I watched the game i had a thought about Madden. That thought prompted me to write another piece.

I won’t make this long. I recently was so playing madden and while going into the off-season there were 2 things that prompted this. 1st my head coach left and I only had 1 shot at getting him to return. 2nd during the draft the top 2 strong safeties came from the same team. Now I know this may not make sense but from those 2 things it got me thinking about 1st the coaching carousel in ncaa 14 and how you could recruit players which really had me missing the college game. The NBA season ended and instantly we were all reminded of how long it's going to be until college football and the NFL seasons. I have good news for you all. ESPN is airing CFL games! Even with the different rules It's still good football. This got me thinking. EA has the NFL license locked up for the foreseeable future. I will try to leave out game play because it it seems like the team at EA has that under control. As along they add a push and shove animation for WRs and DBs I think they'll be good on that front.
Where is the HOF game madden?
They should bring back the run block modifier while keeping the pass block modifier.
They should add that aggressive conservative neutral deal from NCAA 14.

With the playoffs winding down, I've noticed each conference gets their own station for conference championships. In Madden the presentation has become stale, especially after playing so much of the game. They could always add cutaways and more player background stories and things of this nature. But I'm under the impression that with the new consoles the only limitation is the imagination. So would ABC, NBC,CBS, NFL Network, and ESPN broadcasts be too much to ask for?

I havent read anything like this yet, so I'll be the first. (I think) Anywho after playing Madden 25 and NCAA 14 since they both came out. I've also watched a ton of football a good deal of college and NFL football to compare the games to. So here's a list of things that (IMO) should be in the next football game released. NCAA 13 (IMO) is a good game; however, I am very nit-picky so I can't add the GREAT label to it. I'm not gonna bash the game because I enjoy playing it so much. I was re-watching the sights and sounds play book for NCAA 13. I realized ( well I already noticed ) how amazing the crowd sounds now. At the end of the video I took a few minutes to reflect on how far it's come. As I reflected I thought back to an old version of NCAA that had a meter that showed momentum and or the level of crowd noise. While playing NCAA 12 last night I noticed something interesting. I threw a 15 yrd in to my WR. The defense was in cover 2 man under. The FS ran off to help on a go on the outside WR and as my slot caught the pass the SS was blocked by the WR from the opposite side running a post. My slot then took that 15 yrd in and turned it into a 68 yrd touch down pass. The thing that caught me by surprise was the fact that my WR went to 1 knee and bowed his head. I just finished another season on nba 2k 12. And something has caught my eye. The team that has the best record always has the coach of the year. Is it just me or does this happen to other people. It also does this on other sports games. On video games should COY always go to the team with the best record? What if I go 0-82 or 0-16 (lol at the thought of that) make little change to my roster and the following season I'm the 8th seed or 1 game from being the wild card?
