The Decision: Starhawk, Max Payne 3, Diablo 3

So this has NOTHING to do with today's audio blog but that is because the audio blog was recorded with my girlfriend and we talked about NOTHING that needs to be typed about. Today I had to make a decision. I knew that today was going to be "new game" day. With "Starhawk" releasing last week, and "Diablo 3" and "Max Payne 3" this week it was time. Up until today I had no clue what game I would go with. The decision I made is probably going to come back to bite me but the upside is worth the risk. I am first and foremost and pretty much exclusively a console gamer but "Max Payne 3" was the first game eliminated. I'm a huge Rockstar guy but I didn't play Max Payne 1 or 2 and I'm currently working on Red Dead Redemption. The choice came down to a PS3 multiplayer game that I've been looking forward to or a PC game that I don't know if my laptop will even run or not. In the end I went with "a trip down memory lane" and chose to buy Diablo 3. Diablo 2 came out in 2000, the summer I graduated from high school. I remember getting this game and just thinking it was the coolest hack and slash ever and was one of the first games I played with multiplayer. I loved logging time into Diablo 2 and as the release of Diablo 3 edged closer and closer my excitement increased as well. So tonight at midnight I will realize if my decision was TERRIBLE or not. If my laptop doesn't run this game then that was $60 I can't get back and I'm out a new game. If, however, my laptop does work with Diablo 3... well then I probably won't be audio blogging tomorrow
