The consumers should write Goddell and let their voices be heard.
Please open up the market...better yet Take Two should orchestrate a process in which we could comment.
Maybe a twitter overload of people who want open market competition.

Man... 2k football would be so awesome... Just as someone had commented earlier, My Player Mode in football..."LEGENDARY"... Remember how they had the My Crib and all... I haven't totally given up on the chance of it happening....I like the chances of 2k football over College Hoops though... I've never really been a big madden fan but went ahead and copped it this year after a few years of not getting it.... They've taken steps to make it better.... But making it better doesn't erase all the failures of the past or make me forget how awesome 2k5 was and could be if it were here today...

2K will always be better than Madden. It's just true.

The problem is you can only tell ea sports to make a better game and petition the nfl because it's the nfl that seeked the last extension with ea

The number to the NFL office is 1-212-450-2000. I regularly call them and voiced my frustration about the exclusive license...they are usually very nice and insightful. Tim Langley was one of the employees that I spoken to.

Features aside, APF2K8 was the best game imo. The gameplay was more polished than 2K5. Granted, the running was overpowered and little things like that but to me it was the closest thing to the real game. The Oline Dline interaction is by far still the best but its not hard to beat maddens. I played the game for years and was still seeing new animations 4 years later. I found that amazing, not to mention the speed of the game and the players just seemed so much more realistic than madden.

Don't get me wrong, I love 2k5 and 2k8, but everyone always claims how awesome a 2k football game would be on next gen, you do realize they made NHL
2K and MLB 2k on next gen in addition to NBA 2K AMD those games were beyond awful. So bad that NHL is gone and MLB almost didn't make it back this year.

NFL2k5 is the most overrated game in sports game history. I'd rather play 4th and inches on my C64.

After madden royally screwing over offline players this year I'm back to 2k5 and I still love it! Please bring 2k football back!

To add, I don't think 2K will make a great football game right away but 1) they'll have the time to plan and have 2K5's foundation 2) there will finally be competition which will bring more innovation and better games in the future.

I'd be fine with 2K pretty much porting 2K5 with actual next-gen graphics (not like APF 2k8's) and an extensive franchise option. We all know a future iteration with My Player and gameplay enhancements would follow. They just need a game that will make the statement, "EA, we're back to compete!"
