OS APF Ladder Tourney Results

OVERALL: 4-5

Players: elgreazy1 vs. SuperSeahawks
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 3-0 SuperSeahawks wins
Summary: This may have looked like a game of futility but it wasn't. Seahawks' roster came fully loaded with offense (Rice, Barry, Maynard, Cunningham, etc) but my team didn't come to kiss anyone's stat board (Reggie, Selmon, Carson, etc). There were alot of turnovers caused by the defensive pressure on both sides of the ball with my front four sacking Cunningham 4 times, limiting Barry to 70 rushing yards and overall holding the potent offense to 170 total yards. In the end, Ricky Sanders couldn't hold onto a 4th & 2 deep pass and gave the ball. My defense held again, but with only 30 seconds on the clock, Seahawks' defense shut me down.

A game of field position, great defense on both sides, and good coaching/playcalling best describes this one. This was my first game against SuperSeahawks and man, it is probably was one of my favorites

Players: Thirty3 Degrees vs. El Greazy 1
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 21-10, Thirty3 Degrees Wins
Summary:

Players: NFLHITMAN vs. El Greazy
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 23-7 NFLHITMAN wins
Summary: Can't understand why Anderson just completely became ineffective in the 2nd half. He was literally running over Hitman's entire defense but in the 2nd he was being taken down with open field tackles by Bronze Safeties with no run stopping abilities. That Mills (Generic, WR) kickoff return was probably the back-breaker. Big kuddos to Hitman's entire special teams play; that made the biggest impact IMO: making FGs, negating my Return game, and getting production from your KR'ers.

I had also forgotten I had Manley on my roster to serve as a DT. The guy never got to see the field! The pass rush would have been much more fierce with Selmon, White, & Manley.

Players: ANDROMADA 1 vs El Greazy 1
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 17-3 El Greazy wins
Summary: Both players came into this game looking for it's first W of the tourney. Andromada's team came in heavily stacked to run the ball, but my team (09 Vikings) came with 5 legends in the box. With only a generic QB for Andromada's side, the heavy Pass Rush Bonuses on the defense was going to doom the team of a passing game from the start. Allen & the Williams boys wreaked havoc in the backfield all day. Campbell ran for over 100 yards but the biggest plays came from Andromada and his stick skills with Leeroy Kelly. The man was literally a broken tackle or sideline step away from breaking off even more massive runs than he had in both the return game and the running game.

GG man. I think with at least a Bronze QB that offense of yours would be deadly.

Players: SM_Hawkeye vs El Greazy 1
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 20-13 El Greazy wins
Summary: Vikes versus a very heavily stacked secondary. Had it not been for AP/Campbell, my team would have sunk. Hawkeye held my passing game to a Jamarcus Russell-like 29 yards but the running game amassed 250+ yards. The D-line, as always, came through with heavy pressure, but Hawkeye was still almost able to ground out 100+ yards running, which kept him in the game up until the end.

Players: CreatineKasey vs. Elgreazy1
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 24-10 Creatine wins
Summary:

Players: El Greazy 1 vs. Thirty3 Degrees
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 28-21 Greazy wins
Summary: Two high powered defenses came into the game. 33D had a loaded secondary & LB corps while Greazy brought the vaunted Vikings defensive front. In the end, mental mistakes held 33D back with multiple holding, pass interference and other random calls. Up 21-7 in the 2nd half, 33D came back with a vengance but a questionable ruling with a final onside kick sealed the deal.

Players: deuctrey1 vs El Greazy 1
Difficulty: Legend
Score: 0-10 (Greazy wins)
Summary: deuce came in with a heavy loaded defense; more than a 8 defenders were Legends which left him with slim pickings on offense to work with. My 09 Bills came in and had a great test with what I thought would be an explosive offense & balanced defense. Instead, my offense had to dink and dunk my way to short gains and trying to keep the chains moving, while my D was fortunate enough to have personel who overmatched duces'. In the end, it was a defensive struggle through and through with neither team amassing more than 125 total yards of offense each.
