Official Rankings as of week 19.10
Here are the rankings as they stand after this week's league games. I have decided to make them official as of Monday.
I'll get to the rankings in a moment, for now, some explanations... - TW stands for "This Week" - LW stand for "Last Week" - The first set of numbers (to the left of the team names) represents the relative ranking of every team. A blank in either column means that team wasn't ranked that week. - The second set of numbers (to the right of the FOFC member name) represents the rankings points scored for the last two week. - The rankings points for a given week are calculated using a weighted moving average of that week's NSI points and the score of the previous two weeks' NSI points. - "NSI points" is the sum of all your position ratings from your game report, with midfield counting as triple its value - Ratings are scored with the base value set at disastrous = 1, wretched = 2, and so on. - If your team doesn't play its game because of a walkover, your rating for the game in question will be ignored in the weighted average and the remaining ratings will be used. - "exper" stands for the number of weeks of Hattrick experience the user has, that is the date of the day minus the date he got his team, divided by 7. Below, you will find a text formatted version of the rankings, but they are available on the web, GO TO THE OFFICIAL FOFC HATTRICK RANKINGS HOME ON THE WEB Also, if you want to see who has done particularly well (or bad) this week, there's a "tops" page, on which you can also see every team's game ratings for week 19.10. Someday, there will be a link straight from the rankings page, but for now, it available only from here: WEEK 19.10 IN A NUTSHELL That's about it for me, enjoy the rankings. As always, your comments are welcome and bragging is encouraged If you have any question about my very scientific methodology, feel free to ask ![]() FrogMan Code:

Wow, are the teams getting tighter or what. It looks like we are all getting better. there is a definate break between the top 15 teams and everyone else. We should be back on up this week, after 4 straight PIC weeks.

Hmmm my team's winning but I keep dropping 2 spots each week. I guess when you're low on the totem pole, sinking lower isn't fun.
Ah, oh well, thanks FM for putting all this together! As usual, wicked good job. ![]() ~terpk

Only down 14 spots, I was expecting worse. I think I'll be in pretty good shape after playing normal next week though. Hopefully back in the top twenty even. Thanks FM. Good work as always, sorry you had to go through Hatstats to finish up.

Yeah, that was sort of a drag. Seems like the HT server is even more shittier than his usual self nowadays. I wonder what happened to that super fast server they had bought and that lasted like a whole week... Maybe they are waiting for next offseason to surprise us, and then maybe not ![]() Thanks everyone for the good words, they are really apreciated! FM

That is exactly what I meant. But now that I'm thinking about it, I really have had very few problems with Hattrick for awhile now. In fact lately I have had far more problems with this board (and I haven't had an extreme amount of problems with this one). |

I said the test was killing the master and taking his woman, not being given a present. By the way, tough loss on Sunday. I was watching the comeback and expected at least a draw. |

Yeah - but it was a road game against a good team, so I'm not too upset over it. I know I'm going to be tough to beat at home for the rest of the season, and I'm continuing to improve - I'm a little disappointed in my keeper play of late, but I'm also training for defense right now, and that should help a bit. |

Stop training defense. You are running the wrong formation for it plus your defenders are old. One is extremely old. Training them is worthless. If you want to train defenders switch to 4-5-1 for league games and 5-4-1 for friendlies and buy some young trainable players. If you wnt to stick with the 3-5-2 you should train playmaking or keepers and use the profits to boost your weak areas.

The 8 defenders you can train with a 3-5-2/5-4-1 isn't bad. But you'd want them to be young'ish like Nyarlahotep said.

This week, we have 117 teams, just like in TCY without the Solecismic 8 conference
