blasted Ghetto Superstars

They're throwing the series lead so they can stay in D4.43 next season and they're bragging about it in the series conference. I'm hoping the Rage beat them in a few days and then I face them. Hopefully the Raiders will finally pull out a victory over them.

Any suggestions? You guys pulled through with a stunning victory over the Rage. Look forward to your responses.

Is there any positives with remaining in your current division?

I only see good thing if you get promoted. Because you win 10% supporters and some extra money for getting promoted.

Can someone tell me why might some people want to remain in the weaker divisions?

If you win every game you get the maximum amount of new supporters weekly. You should also be able to keep your sponsors happy and sell out most of your matches. On the other hand it exhibits extreme cowardice and the infamous Crawfish should handle owners who do stuff like that

He may feel his team is not ready for the next level....getting your @ss beat every week is no fun...plus if you get relegated again you lose 10% of your supporters again.

Now that I've cracked and made that admission, I wonder if I'm only a couple of steps away from wanting to tongue-kiss Jaromir Jagr and give Bobby Clarke a blowjob.

Ardent is in D.IV and the jump from IV to III is kind of drastic. Of course, having looked at the Ghetto Superstars for the past 2-3 seasons (from following the Raiders), they are and have been ready to move up.

No kidding. You get the impression he just wants another season of being the big fish in the smaller pond?

I think some people wants to hang around thinking they would get "really big" before they'd move up (I think I saw mentions in conference of teams that have multiple million dollar players on their D.IV rosters.) And, as we discussed a few weeks ago, this is sort of a tough concept since the teams that are up there will continue to improve at the same time and without the supporter limitation.

This is one reason I'm really beginning to dislike this game. There are too many people doing this for the purpose of "strengthening" themselves, when it can be argued that they are simply being assholes. There's no reason any team should win their division 2 or more times without promoting and I really wish that any team that played less than 11 in their promotion game would either be deleted or heavily fined since they are basically holding that division hostage in a sense.

I know for example I wouldn't be able to compete in certain D4's but I also don't want to be the best team in D5 for the rest of my days either. Unfortunately if I was stuck in a series with a really good team (like Pajama Boys averaging a 73, or Vengeance is Mine averaging a 67.2) that wanted to be an ass, I'd never be able to promote even though I WANT to.
