Q: How old was Bruce Banner?
I always thought of Dr. Banner as a Devoted Scientist in his late 30's early 40's.
But, it looks like Peter Parker's lab buddy is starring in the new Hulk movie. Never a big Hulk fan so my idea of Mr. Banner comes from th TV series. Was it David or Bruce?

Late 30s, early 40s sounds about right. He's Bruce in the comic, but the TV series producers apparently thought that name wasn't masculine enough and changed it, according to what I read somewhere.

Not to let the geek in me shine through or anything, but the ocmic character was named Bruce David Banner -- The TVpeople dropped the Bruce part for the aforementioned reason -- the film is meant to blend the comic and TV realities -- at least from what I hear. They're using the age of the comic Banner in the film, i.e. mid to late 20's (though Bana is a bit older than that)

It appears that the movie follows the Saturday morning cartoon more than the Bixby series.
At first I wasn't going to see it because of the whole CGI hulk, but now, after realizing the above mentioned, and reading the entertainment weekly article, i will probably go see it.
