OT: Windows question: changing file associations
Help me out here guys... I want to switch around some file associations in Windows 98.
I know the standard methord is to use "open with" and select "always use this program" or whatever it is. For some reason, though, that never 'sticks' on this system. I know of at least two other ways to do it; one through the control panel, and one by opening an app through the command line. Damned if I can remember the steps for either one, though. Help? |

In control panel, it's in Folder Options. There's a tab for File Types.
That's the way in XP, it's probably the same for 98. |
