RIP-Roger Nielson

He succombed to cancer today just before the start of the NHL draft.

He was most recently an Assistant Coach in Ottawa after being fired by Philadelphia.

It's a shame, he seemed like he was a good person. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

He was a really good man. It's very sad, but I am glad he was able to make it to being inducted into the Hall of Fame, as well as coaching his 1,000th game.

I wonder if Bobby Clarke ever apologized for the way he treated Roger.

Now that I've cracked and made that admission, I wonder if I'm only a couple of steps away from wanting to tongue-kiss Jaromir Jagr and give Bobby Clarke a blowjob.

Classiest guy in hockey...if not in all pro sports.

He will be deeply missed.

Some of the stories of stuff he'd do in the minors to exploit the rules are just classic. There might as well be a section in the rulebook just for him.
