Damn. Started the season 14-3 and was cruising along. I then went on a twelve game losing streak, and have lost 13 out of my last 14 to now have a record of 15-17.

And the most embarassing part? I got swept by the bbors...

Can anyone explain to me how the whole offseason business works? Which of my players becomes and free agent and why? Or do I get to manually free agentficate them? I'm trying to avoid having the computer automatically bringing some of my players out of the low minors to fill spots since I'd prefer they stay there for further development.

Daedalus, that's a big issue I have with the game. In the offseason, your players decide wether or not to stick with you. You'll inevitably loose a couple, and who is brought up from your minors to fill out your roster (never able to be sent back down again), is seemingly random.

I was quite miffed when last season, it brough up 2 guys who needed LOADS more time in the low minors. I don't know about anybody else here, but I don't even check my team anymore.

Hell, I only got 1 draft pick from the looks of things.
