Thumbs down I am mad............

So I get this email today from Zoran Savic... He has asked me to try out for the Kansas City Comets in August!

Why am I so mad?

I'm still recovering from my DAMN ACHILLES TENDON RUPTURE!!! Most recoveries take 12 months, which would be April. I've taken a more aggressive approach with the Doctors approval, and I could be ready to go by Dec/Jan at the earliest. I might be jogging again by August, but that is just light joggin/fast walking in a straight line kinda thing.
I am so mad that I did this................. grrr..........

I feel yer pain lytic.
When I was recovering from my ankle surgery (open reconstruction of the lateral ligaments), when I was 4 months post op (I wasn't allowed to try to run or anything else that I do until I was 8 months, I'm at 10 months now and nowhere near where I want to be, still in rehab), I had a professor piss me off (quite like you seem about the Comets invite) and I ended up punching a cinder block wall.
I broke my hand, was in a cast for 2 months, only to find out it didn't heal right and needed surgery to re-break it and pin it.

Moral of the story? Good thing you vented!!! I feel for ya, lytic!

Not to everybody who read that I broke my hand punching a cinder block wall:
1. I punched the wall because I don't believe in hitting people.
2. I learned my lesson. And my surgeon got a new car.

Though when I read Franklinnoble's post I almost fell out of my chair laughing (yes, I admit I am a wee bit accident prone)

Ever since I got the Antrax shot in 2001 I've been fragile for some reason... I am literally falling apart. I've has so many injuries that I am truly starting to believe that this shot is bad. I had a bad reaction to it and had to stay in a room for 3 days, after that I felt fine, but I've had more and more problems happen to me since.
I have some other problems as well that I have to get checked out next month. If it comes out that the shot messed me up, I should get a goos chunk of change from the military.
