Can anyone explain this to me...
I had a 19 y.o. defender (passable stamina/passable defense) on the market at 50k for two weeks, nary a bite.
So this week, I send him on the market for 35k. He plays in the friendly and gets hurt for 2 weeks. I figure it'll be strike 3. This morning I check my notes, and he's sold, but not for 35k, but for 65k!!! At two weeks injury?!? Scratch my head...at least I'm still taking away debt piece by piece. |

Somebody thought/realized he'd be good for their team, and given it's almost the end of the season, he's got a little time to heal. Hey man, don't argue. ~terpk

Can't explain it Qwik, but YOU will have to explain this to me: How in the name of God did you get back in debt??? I thought your transfer market addiction was over...

Well, I was always hanging around 200k, I managed to sell off a few starters, but I had to replace them with cheaper players. I'm at 150k now...judging that at the start of the season I was around 350k, that's not bad...and my plan is to sell my solid winger (he's 29 going on 30) and my one solid defender (as soon as his form gets back to passable). and *poof* I'm back in the black.

Have often had that happen...setting a low price creates interest, which might fuel a bidding war or similar. That's why I always list my youth pulls at 0. (Of course, with higher-skilled players, this strategy could be a bad idea. With how often HT's down and all, if your player's transfer window is during an outage or whatever else, you could get majorly screwed. So I never list other guys muchbelow "what I want")

You can also get lucky sometimes with a high listing. I accidently listed a 29 year old passable playmaker with no secondary skills for $100,000 instead of $10,000 and he actually sold.
