MOTS or PIC?
Ok, here is the situation iv V.167:
1. White Sox Pride 13 52 - 11 35 2. LA ScullKickers 13 60 - 11 31 3. Archers 13 44 - 16 22 4. Golden Eagles FC 13 25 - 14 22 5. Deutsch Fire FC 13 25 - 17 22 6. §Panda§ 13 16 - 37 14 7. hooahs 13 8 - 65 6 8. morningside 13 3 - 62 0 I am the Golden Eagles FC. Here are the fixtures for this week: White Sox Pride - §Panda§ morningside - Golden Eagles FC hooahs - Deutsch Fire FC Archers - LA ScullKickers As you can see, we have an easy match. But so does DFFC. As of right now I have a +3 Goal Differential. With DFFC having an easy match, they could pass me up and take 3rd. A difference I believe of $10,000 prize money. Archers have a tough match and I do not think will win. But if all three teams win, there is a chance I finish 5th. If i MOTS, then my team spirit will be awful. If I PIC it will be good heading into the qualification match. I have a coach who likes to pull back. If I MOTS, I figure I can get several more goals. Thoughts? |

I would just play normal since you're the road team in your game. If you MOTS and come in 5th your TS is screwed. If you PIC, you run the risk of losing.

If it was me, I would MOTS it...Archers has a tough game and could very possibly lose. If you MOTS it and win and Archers lose you get 3rd place and more prize money. morningside is horrible, they have won 0 games and only scored 3 goals...I would think if you MOTS it against them you will win very easily and by a pretty big margin, big enough to possibly finish in 3rd...and I think you have little chance of slipping to 5th. Then even if you were to slip to 5th you would most likely end up playing a bot team.

I would MOTS in your shoes. Getting 4th place is key for the money, and even if you lose, you'll almost certainly get a crappy bot team in the relegation team that you can handle.

My general feel would be to norm the game and play it safe. Then again, I'm kindof conservative in that regard.

MOTS all the way.
You should win, and that should help you score more goals just in case you are still tied. The MOTS will ensure the win, and your TS will reset before next season. |
