Post Your League Standings Heading into Week #14 Here!!
As the Thread Title reads, if you wouldn't mind Posting your League/Divisional Standings heading into the Final Week of the H-trick Season, so that myself and my fellow FOFC H-trickers may have a quick and easy little spot to check out where everyone stands at the moment..
Many Thanks! As for FCC, here's where we sit heading into Tomorrow Evening's HUGE MATCH.... Code:
Basically, here are the scenarios... 1. We Finish 6th and host a Qualification Match next Sunday against a League Champion from Division VI if.... - A Win over the Jayhawks - A Loss by the L.A. Lazers - A Tie with the Jayhawks to go along with either a Tie or a Loss by the L.A. Lazers or.... 2. We Finish 7th and are Auto-Relegated to Division VI if.... - A Loss or Tie against the Jayhawks to go along with a L.A. Lazers Win. It's that simple.... and very nerve-racking. Good Luck Tomorrow to all FOFC'ers!!!

Team Played Goals Points My Slime have had the division under wraps since week 11, but that is not where the intrigue of this week comes from. As anyone who clicks on the Div V Promotion Information can tell you, we are a mere six goals below the auto-promote line. Three teams stand between us and a free ride to Division IV. I've PIC'ed the last couple of weeks against Jetsetters and Bluefield, and TS has just cooled off from Paradise on Earth. Our last game is against the SG F.C. Sharks, and we are MOTS'ing. The hope is that a bang-up performance this week will vault us over the line so we won't have to worry about a qualification match.

Galesburg's clinched series title, the final match is meaningless.
Unfortunatly, thanks to The One Damn Game (tm), we'll be playing a qualifier.

Not much to show (and since I'm not at my home computer, I don't want to do the formatting): Hippos have a 7 goal differential lead going on. Unless the Dragons win by 8 more than we do, we win the division and might even get autopromoted.

Team Played Goals Points
1. Florida Sharks 13 46 - 21 28 2. Square Pegs 13 38 - 16 26 3. MF-Revengers 13 39 - 25 23 4. THO 13 36 - 33 23 5. Creed is a religion 13 22 - 23 17 6. Campeon FC 13 30 - 34 15 7. Agents 13 20 - 43 15 8. Cheese Hunter 13 15 - 51 4 I've pretty much finished in second. I play THO, a team that last week lost to Campeon FC 6 - 1 (I should probably note that Campeon's record is misleading to how good they are, they came in in the middle of the season and are probably currently the 2nd best team behind me in the series right now, though I still PIC'd 'em to win 3 - 0). It'd be great if the Florida Sharks did somehow lose or tie the MF-Revengers tomorrow, though I don't see that happening. MF-Revengers is a team that's gotten 3 points of their own, after replacing a team that was undefeated for some reason (cheating, bankrupcy, I couldn't tell you, though they'd beaten every team they'd played except my 'Pegs, I managed a tie). Being 6-0-1 in the last 7 with a 4 game win streak, I think I'm one good inner mid from promoting next year. |

we are well into auto-promote land, our only loss was to Mikes Raiders when we were trying to stay in the US Open Cup. Since then we have beaten up on everyone. Nextr season should be interesting as the Swedish Team and Pack are without a doubt the best teams in the division. Both teams put up NSI of over 50 right now. Oh, we play Swedish Team this week, and will MOTS them just to run up our goal differential.

My Cheapshots have run the table, but the colorado bulls have done so also since we beat them (at their place) in the league opener. They have a better goal differential, too. So, in this last week - it's a pure and simple showdown for the leagut title. If my Cheapshots can win at home, we autopromote. If they beat us, they win the division. More drama than I had really planned on... but we've been playing it cool to build up for a bit and true-to-its-word "match of the season" this week. Here's how it's looking in V.211 in Canada...
Code:
The Pittbulls are playing the Montreal Timbermen today. We've won our first meeting 4-1 in week 1, when we were playing our "B" team PIC in league play with our "A" team in the Cup. Now it's a revamped "A" team they'll see, and since this is the very last league match, we will MOTS them, just for the fun of it ![]() When I say revamped "A" team, it's mostly our offense. After selling a 17yo passable playmaker for a still unexplained 92.5k (poor passing, weak defending, had just started putting up 2 stars) and a passable keeper for 75k, we went out and bought a solid scorer (regularly putting up 3 stars) and a solid winger/passable passer who's been putting up 3 stars performance too from time to time... This should create some sparkles up front. Tonight, 5 eastern, be there for the destroying of the Timbermen... FM

Bee, with that standing, are you over the autopromote line? It looks close to me, but HT isn't responding right now... Auto-promote is at 34 points in div 5 in Canada (comparable to USA d VI)... FM

Fresh Fish 13 8 - 49 3 This week's fixtures: Louisiana Tigersharks - The Reformed Communist Party Unreal Beatles - Fresh Fish danielpopa - Rizzo's Neighbor Soul Inc - Gasmasters With a win over 5th place Soul Inc, we (the Gasmasters) clinch a qualificaiton match. This match shouldn't be too difficult, as I'm hoping Soul Inc will be PICing in anticipation of their relegation match. A win here would do them no good, aside from playing the role of spoiler. With a draw and a win by the Tigersharks, we likely still earn 1st and a qualification match based on goal differential. The Tigersharks have a tough match and I doubt if they'll seriously outscore their opponent. A win by Rizzo's Neighbor combined with a draw on our part still leaves us in 1st based on goal differential. With a loss and a win by either the Tigersharks or Rizzo's Neighbor, I get bumped down to 2nd or 3rd. RN should be a shoo-in for their match today, but the Tigersharks are a toss-up. |

I'm currently in 2nd place. I play at the last placed team in the division, so I am PIC'ing. The 1st placed team in the division plays at the number 3 team. So I am hoping for a win and a rabbits win so I can play in a qualifier. Or I hope I win big and Twinkle wins small, and I've always scored the most when I PIC. |
