Where are you going?

HatStats has the promotion table updated. I will be the newest member of IV.8. From the looks of it, with a little wise spending this off-season, and some player development, I could be one of the top teams in the series next year. Where is everyone else ending up?

I am going to be in IV.5; There is 1 team that puts up above a 70 NSI, and 2 above 60. After that it is a pretty average series. If I am lucky injury wise and form wise then I should be able to avoid auto-demotion in the first season then after that I should be fine.

I just realized that the Slumlords are in Div IV.8... looks like we'll be battling it out for more than just FOFC bragging rights!

I'll repost this here from another thread.

MISFC have promoted to IV.6

There are no existing or prospetive FOFC'ers in this division.

The division avg NSI was 58.8 for the last match of the season.

The demoting D.III team is computer controlled.

1 of the relegation matches will be very even and one will be lopsided (d.IV favored).

1. (from D.III)Zanarkand-Abes (they will be a walkover, right?)
2. Fluffinators (2nd) 58.2 avgNSI 28.5 staravg 3-5-2
3. FC de Cumberland (3rd) 61.1 NSI 29.0 star 3-4-3
4. Deltona FC (4th) 58.6 NSI 28.8 star 3-5-2
5. Frothingham (5th) 60.7 NSI 28.7 star 3-5-2 should win be back
6. SD Strikers (6th) 58.3 NSI 28.7 star 3-5-2 might be back
7. Brewskis (V.34) 50.8 NSI 25.0 star 3-5-2
8. MISFC (V.40) 52.2 NSI 24.2 star 3-5-2

I think we are very evenly matched. It feels good knowing I just need to beat 1 team to get a relegation match. In the end I think we can be competitive. I think we are capable of putting 60+ in a regular week. There will be no MOTS or PIC at all this year. I just want to stay in IV.

V.31 Season 20

Code:
Team prev. NSI(avg, best, last) Tikkun III.8 (84.8, 94, 85) Frasier Fire IV.31(2) (64.7, 73, 68) Terps IV.31(3) (65.4, 74, 61) ToDaMax IV.31(4) (53.3, 56, 53) * dead? Maples IV.31(5) (53.4, 62, 59) Complex Spikes V.259 (50.1, 60, 60) Thunderchickens V.15 (59.6, 70, 70) Clowns V.107 (52.2, 61, 60)

The Spikes face a walkover in the promotion match so we are in division 4 ready or not. There is no hope of winning this series, and finishing in the top four will be very tough. If ToDaMax becomes a walkover, I should be able to avoid autoregulation, and it would take a very strong div 5 team to oust me at the end of the season.

Repost from the other thread - we could have 3 from FOFC in IV.8 next season...

My prospective new home next year:

1 IV.8 bunnies united 61.1 NSI vs III.9 Ticos 71.0 NSI
2 IV.8 Slumlords 58.4 NSI Hi, winking pirate
3 IV.8 Indian National Football Team 65.5 NSI
4 IV.8 MiLL CiTy CreW 51.5 NSI
5 IV.8 Hale United 50.9 NSI vs V.86 Blackburn Olympic 51.0 NSI
6 IV.8 Carolina Mudpuppies 45.6 NSI vs V.3 Slithy Toves 50.5 NSI
7 V.37 Ravens 60.4 NSI
8 V.90 Long Island Pride 51.4 NSI Hi, NYFAN

After further examination, the Mudpuppies look like an inactive team, so I should have a reasonable shot to promote. If I make it in, it looks like I'll be solidly in the bottom half of the series, but it's a bottom half that anyone could win. Also would make a 3 FOFC team series.

I'll be in IV.22. Despite ranking in the bottom of the IV strength charts, it looks like I'll have my work cut out for me. I might be able to avoid auto demotion, but I'll most likely be looking at a qualifier unless I can drastically improve my team.

I'm moving to IV.9. The top 3 teams look mighty tough, but I think I can squeak in there for 4th or 5th. The other promotee is on the same level as I am (high 50's ratings), though maybe just a hair less talented than my team right now. Looks like it'll be a dogfight.....uh, erm, I mean cockfight.

Oh, bloody hell. Welcome to fucked land. Population: Hippos.

At least IV.21 sent their #1 team packing. One of the top teams in Div IV, los chingones. However, one of the teams, Chock Full of Wholesome Goodness, averages an ~80 NSI while the #2 team, Kaishaku F.C., puts up an average of 70. They also put up 19.5 and 17.5 stars on the midfield so these aren't paper tigers at all. The #4 team, zfan, puts up a 65ish but with "only" 12 stars on the midfield which is slightly below my 14.

But they can't be that good, right? I'll be replacing the dead team... The Champion (team name, not title) from NevStar's division who puts up about 55 a game is the other auto promotion. Team Groomers and their low 50s from AnalBumCover's V.150 will be trying to get into this series but they'll have to take out bobsquad's mid-upper 50s team. For the last spot, the Iowa Enforcers and their low 60s ratings and 15 star midfield will be trying to dethrone Parklife's upper 50s and 14ish star midfield.

I'll be happy to avoid relegation after next season. SUCK!

I'm on my way to French Div III.4. I am doing an analysis right now since we don't have HatStats... Hopefully I'll bravely fight against relegation.

Doing some daytrading now that TS will be rest in 2 weeks anyway.

When do we find out which series we are going to? (I'm in Division VI, so hatstats doesn't tell me which series I'm being promoted to).

At some point in the night between Sunday and Monday, right after the qualification matches have been played. At that point, HT will churn the new leagues, and right after that, the new schedules...

Definately! It looks like he scaled the ladder this year. He started out in the low 50s with 11-12 stars on the midfield but by seasons end, he was a beast with a couple of 70+ and 17 stars. Ack.
