Think of form as a female. General training, higher intensity, more assistant coaches etc. are like buying flowers and writing poetry: they may help, but in the end you still can't understand a damn thing and it's mostly random. |

I think the followup was very apt as well. I'm paraphrasing but it was something to the effect of:

Form is like a bitchy girl who's stuck up with herself. You'll never really get anything out of the relationship, and she'll fuck you over in the end.

I prefer to think of form as an unrequited love, one directed at an impossibly unattainable beauty. I gaze upon her, the beautiful Form, and think, "if only she'd notice me...then maybe...just maybe..."
And then I have periodic fantasies about what it'd be like to be with her, which are just swell...while they last. Eventually my fantasies are charred by the combined ugliness of reality and poor self-esteem and I think, "no, she'd never see anything in me. I'd be thrilled if I could just get to the point where I could bring her flowers and write her poetry, but I'm just not good enough. I don't have anything to offer the lovely Form. I don't make enough money, I've put on too much weight, and I've lost too much hair to be desirable. It's foolish to even dream of it." *sighs* |

At least when they're "boys" (keep in mind I consider any male shorter than me a "boy" and I'm six feet tall...), they're more malleable... Maybe I do need a real man. Nah, I like flirting too much. ~terpk
