Should HT look into multiple training schedules

Let's talk hypothetical...because I have 8 hours until youth pulls and this keeps my from spending the dough I should be saving...

I did buy another player (stop me before I kill again)...last night I couldn't resist when only 1400 or less are on, scouring the boards for solids and passables to pluck so much like ripe fruit if in the right price range and I happened upon a nice cheap striker...

Now I'm training PM, and I plan on continuing this trend...but it's a damn shame because I have 5 inadequate/passable strikers begging for some training...

Last night I grabbed a striker with the famed "head' ability who had solid passing, good form and inadequate scoring...he's 17/18 so he's still training material all for about 29k...

So should HT in some way allow for multiple training regimes...for individual players (not too micromanaged) let's say you could train only so many players for individual training (say like 4 or 5) and only with limited skills and you would be penalized with more weeks to get to the next level for every player not trained with the group, say the max is four players, so the max would be a week extra (for all players to pop) for each player trained differently (because the group loses some training time because coaches are spending time with "star" players), perhaps even risking a TS drop due to jealousy or resentment.

I don't know how radical the coding would be to do this but I think it would be a nice strategic tactic, but I'm not sure how much it would screw up the eveness of the game.

Don't hurt me...please.

It'd be a neat idea, but it would be difficult to implement. The training schedules would have to take longer for the game to remain balanced - unless they made the training more expensive, in which case the rich would only get richer.

I don't like it. Hard to explain why, but it's more or less for the reason Franklinnoble said. The only system I could see in which training multiple skills wouldn't through the game out of balance is this:

You can train as many skills as you want at a time, but they all take a percentage of the total training, and work for the whole team as the current system does. For example, you could train 100% playmaking and it would be exactly the same as training playmaking now. Or you could train 70% playmaking and 30% passing. However, I imagine most everybody would end up training one skill 100% anyway in this system. Seeing that it could cause one skill to increase quickly rather that two increase slowly. I mean a brilliant playmaker will sell for more than a formidable with excellent passing. So, I doubt this system would be useful either.

Training just one skill doesn't really make sense though. IRL, keepers for example have a very specific training schedule.

Maybe HT could at least do an outfield and keeper training ?

Having multiple training possibilities would definitely be a plus in the game for me.

I wouldn't mind being able to focus training on 6 or seven guys. I think it would be fun. For those guys only, you could do whatever. Stamina and set pieces could still be for all, but for the main skills, only those 6 can get training. It would add some more options. How many playmaking trainees do you want. Do you want to train a scorer, or buy one? But it would be tough to put in and would make a game that is already tough enough for none soccer fans when they start, tougher. So stay how she is.
