FOF ERROR MESSAGE!!!

Ok, I just got a new computer and I needed to install FOF4 on the system, but for some reason I keep getting this error message that says...

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-Dos and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
If anyone knows how to fix this or had a similar problem that it would be cool if you could help me out here.
