Clooney to buy Italian Serie B team

Como, Serie B team

I wish I could to afford to do that. Drop 25 million for a team 20 minutes from my house. It'll attract the movie stars though

Does anyone else think he is one of the more underrated actors out right now. Most people I know don't take him serious. I think it is the ER thing.

Dem Italians love their soccer!

I was in Como last year when they won their last game and were promoted to Serie A. I had no idea any of this was going on. It took 2 hours to drive through the town. There were 25,000 people in the town's square, where they were letting one car at a time through the crowd, draping flags over the cars, rocking the cars back and forth, it was something out of a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl or Laker NBA championship celebration. I was just glad I happened to be wearing a blue jacket that day, which was the home team's color!

I might have to make a trip up there to catch some games this year!

No, it's him speaking on political issues without an ounce of braincells.

obviously, because posting them on an internet messageboard about a computer football game means you are obviously more enlightened. We are the cream of the crop.

Bow before the mighty FOFC, or we shall kill and take pictures of you.

Nah, Clooney is a better actor than half of the "actors" right now. Sean Connery, in LXG, tries to mimic thowing an invisible man, but he doesn't throw with the power needed to toss a matchstick. If Connery, an acclaimed and knighted actor who has acted for decades in major productions, can't even act a basic concept like tossing a physical object, then the bar is pretty low.

But Clooney delivers his lines well, and has good facial expressions. True, he needs to branch out and try new character types, but loads of actors need to do that. Let's not criticize him for his failures there.

I loved him in ER. Elliot Gould was good in that, too. What a funny man. It's a shame that show didn't last.

Can we criticize him for this?

Clooney's acting consists of squinting, leaning his head to the right, canting it forward, then looking at the camera out from under his eyes, then bobing his head a few times for emotional emphasis.

That's it, that's all he does. Oh yeah, and, "I'm Batman"
