Question on File Sharing

Ok with the new laws they are coming out with, will this also include going after people that download music videos to burn on DVD? I mean, they are complaining about losing $ on CD sales, however most of these videos would never actually be sold by the companies, so most people would never even be able to purchase the videos...will they be going after video downloaders as well?

Anybody know? Or is there anyway to possibly find out about this, I am sure they have copyright due to the song, but just don't think it is right to make this illegal as well.

My limited understanding of the situation is that the music companies are only going after songs at the moment. A very good website for information on what is happening with the lawsuits is http://www.eff.org/ . They have a section on "How Not To Get Sued...."

The RIAA is telling people how not to get sued? What's next, the Bengals telling people how not to suck?
