I hope I can live 100 years. I think it would be cool to wake up one day and realize that I've seen an entire century of progress in the world. And who knows, maybe the Red Sox will have won a World Series by then. But that's unlikely.

You could live 500 years and you still wouldn't see the Red Sox win the World Series.

He will be missed.

I'm curious as to where he'll be buried or what kind of service he will be given. I know it will be for his family only, but I would love to see him buried at Arlington National Cemetery (or another National Cemetery) with full military honors. He already was made an honorary Veteran and gave a lifetime of dedicated service.

I heard that he was asked where he wanted to be buried and what he wanted for a funeral. He told his family to surprise him. And his family has said he will be surprised by what they have planned. Let's hope they give him the honor he deserves.

Thanks for the memories, Bob.
