OT: Anybody here playing Battlefield 1942??

I have had the game, including the expansion Road to Rome for about 4 weeks now.

My brother introduced me to the game and since then I have been playing online with him and my nephew for the past 4 weekends.

Anybody here still play? I'd like to join up in a CO-OP game later on today if anyone is interested.

Just got it last week after playing it at my brothers. Very fun even though I'm lousy. Make sure you download the desert combat mod at www.desertcombat.com It lets you use modern weapons on some servers.

I went to El Paso 4 weeks ago and that when my brother introduced me to the game, I went and bought it the day I go back home here i good ol MS.

I have been online with him every weekend. I was louse to at first, but I have gotten alot better. I can drive a tank and a jeep now. I cannot drive a plane though, still learning.

I have the Desert Comabt Mod and I like it very much.

I played online yesterday morning with some guys I didn't even know, but had fun playing. I learned how to chat while playing too.

I am looking forward to getting the Secret Weapons expansion which comes out early next month.

If anyone wants to get online tonight and play a little, I am game for it.

Just send me an email on where you be playing.

I dont know if this is the same game but this was in PC Gamer:

"A producer of Secret Weapons over Normandy todl us that the World War II action sim from X-Wing/TIE fighter developer Totally Games would feature a "secret X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter level. Even more shocking: The PC version of Secret Weapons will ship without multiplayer support."

So I am assuming they will provide a download later on for it?

Also I dont have this game, but I will be getting the Vietnam version of the game when it comes out. PC Gamer had a really good article with screens from it.
