I hate bidding wars, I am just going to overpay!
This is the thought process for two people who are now my greatest friends in hattrick.
A little background here. I had decided to keep my recent youth pull and was going to sell another trainee instead. I accidently put the wrong trainee up, I instead put this guy up with a 10000 asking price: Emanuel Mikula (12373588) 18 years, passable form, healthy A pleasant guy who is calm and upright. Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Speciality: Quick Nationality: Polska Assessed value: 82 000 US$ Wage: 1 020 US$/week including 20% Bonus Owner: Fighting Crawfish Warnings: 0 Stamina: inadequate Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: passable Passing: passable Winger: weak Defending: inadequate Scoring: poor Set Pieces: weak So after a constant bidding from 10k to 90k, I decide to update my dynasty and log in and see someone bid on both guys I have up. Excited I go to see how much I will get and realize some guy put a 200k bid on him!!!! I overpayed and payed 49k or so for this guy about 5 weeks ago. Plus he just bumped to passable. Thank you vinarna of Sweden. I then decide to put my latest YP up at a big price tag that I would be elated if anyone bit at. So for 150k you could have this guy right here: Morton Wren (14876274) 17 years, passable form, healthy A sympathetic guy who is temperamental and dishonest. Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities. Speciality: Technical Nationality: USA Assessed value: 134 000 US$ Wage: 1 140 US$/week Owner: Fighting Crawfish Warnings: 0 Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: inadequate Passing: passable Winger: poor Defending: passable Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor So now after adding 11K seats to my stadium, I will be out of debt and looking for some studs to help my squad out some. Looks like a couple of my 20 year old solids I pulled last year might just make excellent p/m after all! The best part is that both bids have about a day left on them!!! I could actually be in the black after this!!!!

I love them. With 14 hours left in my 17 yo solid defenders bidding the high bid was 600k. Final Bid was:
1 122 000 US$ Thank you Daniel "I brought in more money than Tom Sanders" Lucero! Also this will be my sixth straight week of bringing in a profit of 20k or more. Course this week the profit is 988k and I'll have (1 287 171) US$ money in the bank with a home game next week. ![]()

Nobody has bought my solid scorer yet, I've dropped the price now...but I'm slightly concerned...and to think I could have had Australia!
