TS Observation

after PICing this week's match and drawing 1-1 on the road HAM reports that my team spirt is now 11. So that means i am 2 levels above the normal PoE (which is 9).

I've PICed my first 4 games now (2 league and 2 cup) and I'll be PICing this week's cup match which i figure should be a very closely fought battle and i'll be PICing next week's league match against a brand new human team in my series.

So what does this mean for my team spirit?

It just means that it'll keep it high. If you stop PIC'ing, it'll start to slowly drift down toward 'normal'. At, say, 11, it'll just take longer to get back to 'normal' than it would, say, from 9. (Though, supposedly, the higher it is, the quicker it'll drop.) The rate of deterioration will depend on your team leader.

I believe I am at level 11 also, but I don't use HAM so I am not positive. I'm playing normal for my Cup game and then PIC my next league game so I should be at POE for the next 3 or 4 matches.

I wouldn't be so sure about being at POE for more than one match. TargetPractice6 has commented in another thread that is falls fast from the levels above POE (10,11, etc) to POE and even delirious...

Anyway, good for you if you stay at POE for that long, but don't be surprised if it dropped.

I'm going to be normal for my next match. My rating should drop from PoE 11 to PoE 9 after the match. Then on Sunday I'll be PIC again bouncing the TS up again. So it should stay at PoE at all times.

oh okay, goofy me, I didn't see you were gonna PIC in the middle of it. I thought you were hoping to remain on POE for a week or more... Sorry.

well my TS dropped down to 9 today so that is still PoE. I'll be PICing in my cup match this week so i'll keep everyone updated on how my TS goes.

as far as ratings, i put up some of my best ratings this week (including my first formidable and an inad midfield) PICing on 'delerious' so we'll see how much more being on PoE effects my team ratings

You could probably play your cup match at POE, since there are only 3 updates between the league and cup games for TS to drop. However, I don't think it's possible to play at POE in a league game. I PICed my first five competitive games last season and my TS still dropped to delirious at the economy update.

my TS dropped down to 8 after today's update... so i won't be going into my cup match with PoE. perhaps it dropped faster because i drew in my league match

It also goes faster if you are down to 1. I had like the cold war when I first took over SK and booted everyone. It took like 2 days to go up to murderous...

This is what TP6 was talking about, it's very, very difficult to maintain a TS at POE for even a small period of time...

I PICed 5 straight games last season and didn't play a single one at POE. It isn't that TS drops faster the higher you go, the levels just aren't linear. They get smaller as you go higher.
