My son!!!

This is my son, Maxwell Wyatt. He was born at 8:06 am this morning. He weighs 7 lbs 13 oz and is 20.6 inches long. I'm very proud, and wanted to share the moment!

Thanks everyone! As Cam has already pointed out, this is our second child. His big sister is out of town, and is in for quite a surprise when she gets home!!

BTW Cam...you can still use Maxwell. It's a swell name.

Well, he's doing alright. His lungs are a bit immature, so he was moved to the NICU at another hospital last night. They are giving him lots of medicine, but he should be fine. It's a sort of a situation that just takes time. His mom has already been discharged, and so we'll be heading back up to the hospital to be with him. Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Actually, my neices are three and one and a half. So they'll be close enough to 18 that they should know when to tell a punk 16 year boy old to buzz off...

Yes, he was three weeks early. It seems that his size is making it a little harder to breathe, but as of this morning, he is doing much better. The O2 mix is down to 70% from 100%. He not breathing on his own yet, but he's improving.

Raiders:
Yes, it's amazing isn't it? I had pictures out to the family within a few hours, and everyone was able to feel like they were part of it that way.

Mac:
Too bad for him! As his father, I have the right to embarass any of my children at any time. I have to give them something to talk about in therapy someday, don't I?

Samdari: LOL!
