1-0 home team early!

Ruskiess Max Grimm gave, after 7 minutes, the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.

2-0 Ruskies.

Burton Ames hit the ball just perfect in the 18:th minute and could score for Ruskies with a fab long shot to 2 - 0.

3-0 us, all in the last 15 minutes. The other side has four yellows. This with a PIC and what is (essentially) my B squad, very pleased.

Up 3-2 in a wild first half. My Central Defender has two goals and a wingback has the other goal. Good news is I'm controlling possession 63%.

Last time I checked, I was whooping on Real Celtic 7-0.

I nearly quit Hattrick this past Wednesday because of a mistake I made. For my cup match, I accidently chose to run a 4-4-2. I set my Wing Back to offensive instead of the usual Extra Inner Mid.

Unaware that I totally Effed up my set, I checked the game. 35 minutes into the first half, I was losing like 2-0. I can't remember but I was losing. And I read that I ran a 4-4-2.

WTH? I was pissed off... and never checked my HT team until this morning. Whaddya know? I log in, look to the right, and it says that my undefeated streak is now at 18 games!!

I was like dang.. that must mean that I won the cup match. In fact I did.. in a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory. My morale for running my team is very good now!

Purple Pirates have now pulled away 5-2. This is a great result, as we PIC'd against one of our toughest league opponents.

West Henrietta FC is playing a road match against cute mariners. WHFC PIC'd the match and I have a feeling that cute mariners may have MOTS'd it.

We are down 1-0 at the break giving up our first goal on the season.

Never fear, Jackie Harrington, making his first start ever at forward, levels the match in the 63rd minute. This is followed by 3 more goals in the next 18 minutes. 4-1, WHFC with just under 8 minutes left.

Well we planned for the streak to end here. We sent the trainiees on the field with some a teamers and lay down. We PICed aaginst a regular league foe, with the hope that we could get a home win in the Cup, without MOTSing.

We lost like champs and didn't even get a scoring opportunity. No injuries and only 1 yellow card. We are in a good position to win. We have high POE and are only missing our starting CD.

We should are playing another promotee from D.V and our prostpects for a Cup win are excellent.

We had no desire to win the division this season, and are planning for a big second half run. Keeping TS high is the #1 priority, and that plan included losing tonight.

Don't know if you really expected your team to get "clubbered" (clobbered?), but according to HT in my little Percocet world, you won 3-1.

Clubbered, clobbered, it's all the same to me Yes, as a matter of fact I fully expected to get trashed by that team. Looks like we pulled the impossible. He posted two consecutive 71 in his first two league game this season, afer being relegated from div III at the end of last season. Let's say we from both end of the spectrum, as I got promoted from V. I got a 63 NSI while he only got a 66 NSI. Both teams got a solid midfield resulting in a 50-50 possession in the first half, but my solid must have been made of players with better stamina, because we got 60% possession in the second half. There may also be the fact that one of his midfielder got sent off at the end of the second half...

Anyway, a great, unexpected win. We'll take it!

Sorry, we tryed. Maybe I should have gone with the 3-4-3 instead of the 3-5-2. My 68 NSI just wasn't good enough for his 71.
