opinion?
I'm selling the following guy:
Code:
His best performance was a 2 Star game at wingback when he had solid form. I no longer play him. I listed him for $80,000 and really didn't expect to get a bid on him. I somehow did. Am I underestimating his value? |

His form is crap now, but the guy looks like he would be a decent winger towards the middle, offensive wingback or just plain winger. I think 80k is alot, but you good for you!

Yep. I wasn't sure how he would do as a winger toward the middle. I never tried him there because I have a few wingers that are young and I train PM. I expected to get around 40K for him, but decided to list him for 80K and see if anyone bit. I was just surprised someone did.

Yeah, he's a great winger toward middle (or, secondarily, offensive winger) when his form is up. I think he's worth the 80K, if the team is willing to be patient with the form.

Well good to know for future reference and at least I listed him higher than I thought he was worth so I'm not getting ripped off.

Bee, I also train playmaking, but I'm willing to sacrifice my league game winger spots to older, more productive players, as wingers only get 50% of the training a true inner mid would get. This means that a 17yo played solely at winger would take a full season to go up only one level, instead of the usual 7 weeks. My current wingers are a 32yo solid winger/passable passer who gets me 3 stars and a usual excellent (or above) attack ratings on his side and a 24 yo passable winger/inadequate passer who gets me 2.5 stars and a usual solid (or above) attack ratings on his side...
This player would certainly make a very good offensive or toward middle winger. He's got excellent stamina, so he's able to contribute to your midfield rating as much as is passable playmaking skill allows him and if played offensive, you are boosting a already solid winger skill. Only drawback is his poor passing. I don't think I would have played him as a wing back, but I usually have wingbacks played defensively, mostly because they don't really have much winger skill, but good defender skills... FM

I have 2 pretty good wingers that put up 3 and 3 1/2 stars that are younger, and have slightly better overall stats (better passing, same winger and playmaking skills). That's why I had him playing at wingback. I recently bought 2 wingbacks who are better and Moore became expendable.

Last season the wingers are all I had going for me. I was lucky to get 2 stars from any of the other positions.

With more than an hour to go, he's at $130K. I'm really surprised. I guess I really undervalued him. Perhaps I should have tried him on the wing "toward the middle" before listing him. Maybe in solid form he could have put up better numbers than I had thought.
Well, in any case it will help with my $200K of debt. ![]() |

double dola:
I was hoping for a bidding war at the end. There seemed to be two teams interested, but one of them didn't want to pony up the dough. He sold for $133K. I'm very pleased, that helps to get me out of debt considerably. I'm going to check in over the next couple weeks and see what kind of stars he puts up for his new team. I hope I won't be kicking myself. ![]() |

I'd say 2.5 to 3 stars if his form was up.
