Help wanted please help

How do I remove this spyware off my computer '2ndsrch.dll' I've tried everything like adware, spybot and even going into command prompt and try to delete it there all i get is access denied. So if anyone can offer any help because my parents when they use the computer have pops about porn, enlargement, and other junk pop up. Help...

hmmm, is it read only?

thats the only thing that can keep you from deleting it. However, you should try deleting it from outside windows. boot up with a floppy disk.

Its probably not read only. Most likely it is in use.

Try booting up in safe mode and deleting it.

you are probably getting access denied becuase the dll is in use.

if it were me, I would open the registry eidtor and edit out the command to run the application at start up. Then reboot and remove the dll.
