Offical Madden 2004 PC IP-IP Thread

Hey guys, I know I'm not important enough to make an "offical" thread, but I know some of us want to setup challenges on here, and I think this will be an efficient way to do so.

Does anyone want to play a game? Its 3:00 PM eastern time, Friday on the east coast. You can leave a message on here, or contact me on AOL IM (Philliesfan980).

We should make a Club on the online Madden thing... all PC FOFC Madden owners.

I'd play with you now, but I have work in a bit.

Yeah, but does that require you to pay money and sign up for the madden server? I'd rather just go ip-ip.

Anyone want to play madden now over the net?

If anyone wants a game tonight (trying to ring phillies), buzz me with my AIM name, which, amazingly enough, is identical to my handle here.

With the week I've had, fair warning. I may be shitfaced by the time we play.

I got a card for a "free subscription to a season" with my madden, for what its worth. I may get in on some of this ip to ip business, but not this weekend as relatives are coming to town.

Hoookay.

Me and Phillies played 1 quarter. The view of the game online.
Eagles vs Bears

Running Game: Passable. Bears did very well stopping Duce Staley, which is the strength of the Bears D. A-Train got some good yards. Backfield stops were a bit high, but not terribly so. I can live with it.

Passing Game: Running game, backwards. I think we both completed 1 pass. Total. EVERY other passing play except 2 drops and 2 throwaways ended up in sacks. It's a pleasant suprise even pulling out an incomplete pass. Literally.

We decided to call it after a fitting tribute. Mike Brown picking off a pass and returning it for a TD.

Fuck this. Utterly and completely ridiculous.

Mind you, this was coach only mode.

The bottom line is this is crazy. These sort of "basic" mistakes are unexcusable, and should never happen to a 10+ year franchise. I feel violated.
