The V.38 Soap Opera Continues

I know some of you, well at least one - me, followed the curves and bends, the ups and downs, the ins and outs, the highs and lows, of the Galesburg-FD United saga in US V.38 last year. Well Coffee moved on, and FD's owner settled into his familiar role of also-ran who likes to bore people with inane trash talk. With Coffee gone he needed a new target. I take you to 8/17:

FD United players wonder if they are playing a women's team this week. With player names that consist of 2 Jans, a Kim, a Vivian and whatever a Huo is, some believe they are all girls. FD hopes it will lead to an easy victory and maybe some dates after the game.


Now initially I was going to take the high road, but then realized I didn't want to, so this came next:

Confusion reigned in the Pantalones clubhouse over the sexual orientation of the United players. Their coach has booked the first flight out of town and the buses will be pulling out as soon as the final whistle blows.

Pantalones dealt a 1-0 defeat to FD United in the most recent league matchup. While most Pantalones players expressed sympathy over the opposing squads inability to get a date, they were happy to leave town, quickly, with the win.


I thought it was a pretty enjoyable sequence of events. I couldn't have scripted it better myself. So don't give up hope, jackassery is still alive and well in V.38.

See...my divison is a bunch of friendly nice guys, including heavyreign from the board here..while he doesnt really contribute to the series conference, most of the owners do...kinda hard to start the trash talking and look lke the funny one...
