What a finish!

Saugus, Mass just advanced to the US Championship by beating a wonderful team from Texas 14-13.

Saugus led 10-4 in the top of the 6th. Texas got 6 to tie, 4 with 2 out. Texas then get 3 in the 7th, 2 on a massive homer.

Saugus then loaded the bases on walks. A pair of singles tied the game. With two out, the last batter hit a 25 foot dribbler down the 3rd base line. The throw to first was late and they won.

WOW

If this isn't an ESPN Instant Classic, no Little League game can be one.

Heartbreaks all around, just the last one was for Texas.

Awesome Awesome game.

Remember the stuff I talked about last year, wondering if the LLWS should be on?

Forget it. The kids deserve this memorial forever.

Amazing game. I'm in Massachusetts so I was rooting for Saugus, but I wish they would have played the replay of that last play at first a couple more times--it looked like they got him at first to me(and it was a great throw and pick either way).

Very close, but they didn't make anything out of it.

I think the ESPN classic was the game last year. Didn't some kid pitch like 9 perfect innings, and his team won by a run?

With all of your "qualities", you seem to be the perfect candidate for a reality televison show....

I thought for certain this was in reference to Jimmy Edmonds walk-off home run.

And what "qualities" are those.

You guys are quick to judge someone you've never even met.

At least hold off judgment until meeting me. I think most of you'd probably end up liking me.

Only problem is these FOFC, OOTP, etc. get togethers always seem to be in Atlanta.

From the looks of things the contigency here in California is rather large (Palo Alto, Davis, Placerville, Manteca, Oakland, and elsewhere throughout the Golden State).

Perhaps its time for a little FOFC convention in California. Than once and for all you can see that I'm not who you guys think I am.
