Roll call for those still in USA Open Cup
Who else is still out there?
I'm the "underdog" for the first time in two seasons. I play a D3 team called "Dr United". Wish me luck, as this is the furthest any NC Raider has been in the Cup.

Good luck AE. I just received a reality check on Wednesday in round #5 against AYSA Express. They were in Major League last year and gave me a sound 5-nil whooping. I did however post some nice ratings so I am not too upset. My team had never made it past the third round so two extra home games were very nice.

The NE Oklahoma Sidekicks are still in it after winning 3-2. We now play the CrazyCoCos of II.2.

I move on to play the Freedom Fighters of V.29. He hasn't been scored on in 7 matches......I aim to end that streak.
I've made it as far as the Sweet 16 in the US Open Cup in the past (Season 16), and hope to match that or do better this season. I'm horribly overmatched in the Major League, so I'll be playing starters in the cup from here on out until I get eliminated while at the same time PICing almost all league matches.

Calibiri is amazingly still in the dance. We lucked out against a better team last week due to Wes Branham playing the role of goalkeeper uber alles and a couple of our low ticket geezers on defense coming through in penalty shootout. This is the furthest we've been and we get to have our first Cup home game in 2 years. We're happy (we did the Happy Dance)!

I get to embarassingly lose to a team called The Cheerleaders...
Well, I have some shot. They should beat me in midfield but if I get lucky enough to get match-ups right, I can match their offense and find a hole in their defense. It's a longshot, but at least I get all of that gate for a home match! Last edited by YoSoySean : 08-22-2003 at 05:48 PM. |

MISFC are still in the Cup. This is the furthest we have been after a 1-0 win over the Running Bucks of D.III.
Up next is a division II foe, the Fancy Garlic Presses.
