OK, so I jinxed La Tech the other day. Hopefully I won't jinx my Miners tonight. This is a big game for UTEP since we haven't won a road game in two years and we haven't beaten a PAC-10 team in lord knows how long. Arizona is down, and UTEP looks like they could be decent this year. This game is winnable...

Miners win!!! Miners win!!!!
UTEP beat SMU in Dallas tonight, the first time we've won a road game since 2000 and the first time we've won a conference road opener in 16 years! I was at the game and the Miners got off to a terrible start but they played hard and managed to pull this one out, despite commiiting the most stupid safety I've ever seen... GO MINERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, just a little excited here...

Well, I'm not certain of their exact ranking, but it's somewhere in that area. But after yesterdays win they might jump all the way to #105!!!

Dude, we lost to...no, got our asses handed to us... by Div 1-AA Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo ealier in the year. Arizona throttled us. Yeah, we're that bad...
