GOD DAMN YOU, YAHOO SPORTS.

They show the final of the Mizzou/Illinois game as 22-15 Illinois, but it turns out Missouri actually won the game 22-15.

It's freaking CONFUSING, because they show Missouri having scored 14 in the first half, then ONE freaking point in the 4th quarter. Don't DO that to me, dangit >_<

Dude, it's Mizzou/Illinois. No reason to get your panties in a wad.

If I knew what team you root for, I'd make some witty, ridiculing remark.

Instead, I fart in your general direction.

You are mean. Ridiculing hurts, love causes warts.

Maybe the thread title alone is enough for today already...

Josh, back when I was living in Springfield in the late '80s, Southwest Missouri State was bubbling just outside the top 25 in men's basketball and with some losses looked like they might finally crack it. When the poll comes out, they were nowhere to be found -- they dropped down to just a few votes.

Why? After some resourceful investigation, it was discovered that on Saturday night the AP had accidentally reported SMS lost at home that night. They never recovered from that setback in the polls.

Missouri /Illinois is a big rivalry. Not as big as Mizzou/Kansas, but better than a Indiana/Kentucky rivalry.

I would look for better sources for your scores man.

Eh, Yahoo finally got it right, but it still irks me that they screwed up. I mean, anybody with a brain would realize that there's no way Mizzou scored a single point in the 4th quarter, and probably woulda done the math...but I had to do a double take to realize they won.

It's one thing to mix up sports teams with the same name. Like, I've seen the Florida Panthers referred to as the Carolina Panthers.

But a mistake like that is inexcusable.
