Vick sees action

Vick the younger has come into a 21-0 game in second quarter. Not that you can tell much in a few plays, but the kid looks alright.

His first two passes seemed to flutter...but they were still accurate. I'm not a fan of Bryan Randall (he has a tendency to fumble), but he's looked spectacular today.

Edit - Meanwhile, Kevin Jones looks like he could start for two dozen NFL teams right now.

That TD halfway through the second quarter was sweet.

I hope our defense can get it's act together. Part of me wonders if Tech came into this game with a reduced playbook so they wouldn't be showing any of their "good stuff" to Texas A&M.

As far as Vick goes, his TD pass in the 4th quarter was just perfection. It's understandable that he would have some jitters on his first collectiate drive - remember that MV1's first drive was 3-and-out against James Madison.

My other question is about the passing game overall. Randall and Vick were under absolutely no pressure all day, but I am so not used to Tech receivers

a) getting the ball thrown to them so frequently
b) catching the ball

Really, it looked like Tech was just running passing drills out there. No pressure on the QB and wide open receivers all day long.

I really wonder if Stinespring will actually keep up the balanced offense all season. I can only hope so.

Vick sees action, then immediately gets suspended forn the next game. Did he throw the ball too much?
