Ok, need some last minute advice here folks...we had a funky proceeding for our Draft Saturday, so in other words, we're sorta redoing it...but I get to keep 4 guys, no more than 1 per position.
McNair McAllister Candidate Holt Porter Morgan Shockey Franks M. Grammatica Vanderjagt TB Def Car Def What do you guys think? We start only 1 RB, have two WR's, a TE, QB, Kicker, and Defense. This is a 12 team draft, and I'll start picking again in the 5th round...if that helps out. I'm thinking probably McNair, McCallister, the Tampa D, and...... not sure on the last one. |

Personally, I'd keep McAllister, Holt, Shockey, and the Tampa D.
Shockey is one of the coveted "top 3" TEs. 4th will likely be a large dropoff and if you don't get one of the 3, you might as well pick one really late. As for Holt over McNair, I like McNair but solid QBs are a dime a dozen. It probably won't be too hard to find one. THere's tons of good WRs too, but I believe Holt is going to have a very good season. St. Louis seemed to make Holt their go-to guy this preseason and he responded very well. |

Ok, thanks a bunch guys. I was going to let this go on for a while, but I'm being harrassed to make my picks now.
I went with McNair, Shockey, McCallister, and the Tampa D. Had to go with McNair over Holt for the simple fact that I won't be picking again for a long time, and don't want to chance the QB situation THAT much. I keep hearing good things about him this preseason also. But yeah, I really wish I could've kept Holt also, I expect him to do pretty well this season. I think I feel safer taking bigger chances on WR's than QB's late though, so we'll try this out. Thanks for the help guys. |
