Saw on another board that Man-Ram has been suspended, presumably by the Red Sox. Can anyone confirm?

Does this have to do with him being spotted in a hotel bar when he was too sick to play?

No one has blamed anything on Jimy in a few years and that was the old owners. Nice to see the new ones actually take disciplinery actions against their players. This will destroy the team chemistry for the rest of the season though.

That, and apparently he missed a scheduled meeting with the team doctor on Sunday, then didn't even show up for the game on Monday.

Has anyone seen an official statement yet? These things usually happen quickly but I haven't found anything yet. Makes me wonder if this is false info.

On Around the Horn, they said, that he said on camera that playing in New York is a dream of his. And then he also got cought at the bar with a Yankee's utility player.

I just watched them report on Sportscenter that he did not go drinking with Enrique Wilson, he just said hello to him in the Hotel Lobby and that story got some legs and grew a little...
