All you Romo fans

It is the 3rd Qtr in the Titans/Raiders game and ESPN announcers have their tongues firmly rimming Romo's anus. As far as I'm concerned, I have no problem with his actions. Given that the league is fining people $500,000 simply for not interviewing a black coach, I am confident they would take appropriate action against a player that has done wrong. (Great. My tongue is stuck in my cheek. Yikes. Two tongue references in the same thread. I feel dirty.)

Just heard, when they were saying how he never stops and all that crap... The play they showed was basic LB play, not even something special...

Hate him with the white hot flame of Michael "Crack & Strippers" Irvin, Deion "Lookie Lookie, You're poorer than Me" Sanders, and Terrel "55yd run to pose on a Star and show you up" Owens.

May they all be involved in the Cardinal or Bengal organization, long term, for their crimes against humanity.

Romo just handled Holcombe, not a deserved call, but get off the guy after he goes out of bounds

Through some weird quirk in the cosmos, I think one of them has already served his time. I think Deion dies in the future and his future reincarnated self gets in a time machine to become Aeneas Williams- a guy who actually has talent (rather than reputation), worked to get it, and was marooned on the Cardinals for most of his career.

Romo is probably the one player who could blow out his knee, end his career, and not elicit a shred of sympathy from me.

The ironic thing is that you stick Romanowski back into the era of guys like Butkus and he becomes less noteworthy in all respects. The guy is the modern poster child for nasty linebackers, but that kind of stuff was once commonplace.

I can't stand him, but he is what he is.

The 'roids aside, of course.

i'd love to see reporting of sports reduced to talking about the game only. so that people have no idea about the off the field personalities of the guys involved. then sports could get back to being about teams and competition and not individuals, and people would get on with watching the game instead of whining about what an arsehole player X is. player X may well be an arsehole, but if he is any good, i couldn't care less. if player X is not any good, he can get the heck off my team. although to be hyprocritical, i guess if player X killed a guy by whacking him over the head with a bit of lead, or he is a racist piece of shit or something like that, then fair do's, he probably shouldn't be wandering around on a sports field on a sunday afternoon.

actually, i just read that Arizona have signed player X to play wide receiver as they apparently "lack depth".

So, kind of like when Romanowski spit in the guy's face during the game? Does that count?

Or beating a teammate during practice bad enough to put them in the hospital? Does that count?
