Managerial Savvy

I, in my endless wisdom, decided to be a clever manager and start Ashley Lelie over Hines Ward this week.

Lelie: 12 rushing yards... that's it. 0 catches.

Ward: 92 rec yards and 2 TD's

I lost my game by four points, and if I would have kept Ward in, I would been the high scorer of the week and won an extra 5 bucks. I rule.

Speaking of poor starting decisions: I started Holcombe who I thought would tear up Indianapolis Defense (he got me -2 points) over Tommy Maddox who I thought would struggle against a supposedly tough Raven defense (he scored 24 points in our league). That little decision cost me 26 points from my starting QB, and I'm only up by 7 right now. I hope Grammatica doesn't score much tomorrow night.

I started Anthony Thomas and Curtis Martin - two RBs who combine for like 3 points.

I need McNabb to step it up tomorrow for me to have a hope of winning over IlliniDan.

In the league I am commissioner for I didn't name a starting special teams, and will therefore be one player short this week.

I'm a dumbass.
