Not computing for me
Was bidding for a 17 year old solid PM with inads for stamina/defense/passing. Bidding was going along, but got to 200k, so I quit.
Next time I look, bid is 250k or so. Then BAM, EMERIL, someone bids $500k out of nowhere. Why would you do that?????

Not enough time to continue the bid-up, so you tell the other gankers that you mean business and blast their bid out of the water.

Quite a bit much for my taste at this time in the year. However, think about it: if you want to win and win now, bid that and everyone else will leave. Typically, that happens to bring the bidding from $50K to $200K on a $300K player, for instance, to separate the wheat from the chaf. Nothing like pissing away a good 30 minutes on your computer bidding back and forth with some daytrader who will only pay half what the player is worth.
Then again, I don't subscribe to this at all because I've gotten nice little bargains when bidding wars just abruptly stopped. Even better, I like annoying people by only raising exactly 2% instead of every 1000. ![]() SI

17 y.o solids with any kind of secondaries will always bring in big bucks. I had a 17 y.o. with weak PM, passing and defense, wretched stamina, sell for 10k simply because he's 17.

too bad my youth pull was 19. I put him up for $0, hope to cover expenses.
(I may be the worst FOFC Hattrick transfer market person. If it isn't a keeper, I have no clue, which sucks now that I don't train keeper anymore.)
