Rockets get rid of Rice!!!
Finally! Got rid of that albatross contract! Not sure about picking up John Amaechi and Jim Jackson in the process- but it can't be worse than Rice.

We get back to the problem with the NBA.
It's just impossible to really improve your team. No one can make a trade based on who's good or who fits. It's all about that damn cap. We see too many of these my scrub for your scrub trades. |

I hear Anthony Mason will be joining the Rockets soon as well.

Yeah, but we also traded a first round pick with him. So basically we traded Rice and a first rounder for Amechi and two second rounders. We got raped...

Well the Rockets should be a 45-win team. So what's the real value of their first-rounder.

Oh, hey, since we're talking Rockets I gotta show this cool pic that I saw today...
*trying to find pic* Here ya go... ![]() ![]() Account Manager at Madame Tussaud's Sara Law hugs a life-size wax figure of NBA star Yao Ming shortly after it was unveiled on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003 at the Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong wax museum. Yao's figure, clad in Houston Rockets' uniform is the third tallest Madame Tussaud's figure world wide, after the Incredible Hulk in London and New York and the Amsterdam Man, Yao with his arms above his head stretches to 8.5ft (2.60 meters), took six months to complete at the cost of HK$500,000 or US$64,573. (AP Photo/Anat Givon) That looks pretty bad, huh? ![]()
