Game News: Wasteland
Quote:
Wasteland is probably in my top 10 games of all time. A new game in that setting would definitely peak my interest (especially from Brian Fargo). |

Bee, where is this info from? I.e., is there a link?

A post-apocolyptic RPG (ala Fallout) from the 80's. The first game where one of my characters caught a STD. ![]() |

Wasteland can best be viewed as the father of Fall-Out, but the interface was very much like Bards Tale (the game on which it was based).
I agree that the game was one of the best of all time.

Wasteland is a classic game. I loved it. One of the best of all time. Ranks up there with Bards Tale 3, Ultima V, Autoduel, and the early gold box D&D games (Pools of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, etc.) as some of the best games I ever played on the old Apple IIE.
I always considered Fallout and Fallout II as sequels to it. Can't wait to see what they do with the new one.

Fallout didn't do it for me for some reason?!?! Great news indeed!!! Todd |
